I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Statistics of University of California, Davis. I work primarily with Prof. Krishnakumar Balasubramanian. I finished my Ph.D. in June 2020, and my advisor was Prof. Prasant Mohapatra. Prior to this, I received a Bachelor of Technology (Hons.) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering in 2013 from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
I am interested in nonconvex optimization in statistical learning problems, especially, in theoretical deep learning, MCMC sampling, learning from dependent and heavy-tailed data, and multi-arm bandit with non-Euclidean contexts. Here is a link to my CV, and my google scholar account.
